Support programmes

All participants in Space for Transformation events can attend ‘top-up’ days, to reunite with colleagues, update on progress and renew the effects of clarity and transformation.

Telephone support is available from any aHead-Space Associate with whom you have worked closely on a recent Space for Transformation event.

Many of the challenges addressed in Space for Transformation involve changes of habit and behaviour over the medium and longer term. Endeavours of this sort, in our experience, benefit from on-going support and can easily founder without it. aHead-Space is able to respond to this need with extended programmes of support, tailored to the needs of your school, working with you, your staff, pupils, parents or governors, as required, to maintain momentum and extend the vision you have shaped in Space for Transformation.

These programmes can build your school’s capacity in the following areas:

  • Confidence-building
  • Counselling
  • Creativity
  • Emotional literacy
  • Intra- and Inter-personal elements of leadership
  • Meditation and Attention
  • Stress management
  • Vision and values
  • Self-evaluation
  • Specialist status bids
  • Team-building
  • Work-life balance

aHead-Space is able to arrange visits to transforming schools with outstanding success in:

  • Buildings transformation
  • Curriculum transformation
  • Emotional and behavioural transformation

"Dear Tim
I am very grateful for the consultancy work recently undertaken at my school. Your sensitivity in working with members of the senior management team allowed you to gain their trust. Consequently your feedback on the way that the team was working provided valuable insight into the ways in which I can ensure that the team's effectiveness can be developed.

The one-to-one session enabled me to articulate the the ways in which I can develop appropriate leadership styles for different members of the team. I
valued the way in which you supported me in reflecting on my "hunches" and from this building a plan for further action."
